The Living Mandala of Oz podcast series explores the corresponding upcoming Living Mandala of Oz oracle deck through a series of conversations based on the color schematic of the cards. Each color in the deck corresponds to a country or character type within the magical realm of Oz. In this podcast series, Dr. G, William Barnard and I discuss each color one by one in an effort to tap into themes of divination, chakras, occult knowledge and spiritual undertones available to dissect in the 14 marvelous Oz books by L. Frank Baum.
- Opening Episode - background on the project, construction of the deck, the Oz mandala (map of Oz / magical land), the use of Enneagram types and astrology, plus intuitive guidance from each card.
- Divination + Correspondences - What's happening when we draw cards and make correspondences plus ways to use this deck as a means of self-discovery and divination.

- Humans - ORANGE - The Sacral Chakra governs our capacity to experience pleasure, form relationships, and embrace change, mirroring how these human realm characters often shift between worlds, adapting and transforming as they engage with unfamiliar magic and wonder of Oz. - Winkies - YELLOW - Associated with the color yellow, the Winkie Country reflects themes of reclaiming personal power and overcoming domination, key aspects of the Solar Plexus Chakra, which governs willpower, self-esteem, and personal authority. Episode drops April 14, 2026.
- Emerald City - GREEN - Just as the Heart Chakra serves as the bridge between the physical and spiritual chakras, the Emerald City functions as the unifying heart of Oz, bringing together diverse peoples and energies. Episode drops April 28, 2026.
- Munchkins - BLUE - The blue homeland aligns with the Throat Chakra's color, emphasizing themes of honest expression, clarity, and the liberation that comes from finding one’s voice. Episode drops May 12, 2026.
- Fairies - SILVER - The fairy figures often operate on a higher plane of awareness, appearing at key moments to guide, reveal truth, or influence fate in subtle but profound ways, much like the Third-Eye Chakra helps one access insight beyond logic. Episode drops May 26, 2026.
- Gillikins - PURPLE - The purple of the Gillikins corresponds with the color of the Crown Chakra, reinforcing its role as a gateway to the divine, the mystical, and the unseen. In this way, the Gillikins represent the spiritual dimension of Oz, echoing the chakra’s themes of unity, transcendence, and the quest for higher truth. Episode drops June 9, 2026.
- Chariots of Ascension - DEEP GRAY - In L. Frank Baum’s Oz books, the recurring use of "chariots", vehicles of transition like the cyclone, hot air balloon, and whirlpool, can be seen as symbolic conduits of energy flow within the auric field, particularly in the subtle, liminal spaces between consciousness and transformation. These gray-toned phenomena, neither purely dark nor light, represent threshold experiences, moments where a character is lifted out of the ordinary and transported into a new energetic realm.
